Van Mahotsav
On 18th of July ’23, hundreds of students of Auxilium participated in Van Mahotsav programme and went to a place adjacent to the ground of Farabari Primary School, Nepali busty, and sowed over 250 saplings in a day.
The campaign has been initiated by WB Forest Dept. under the banner Van Mahotsav to spread awareness about the plantation of trees among people throughout the state.
The program was initiated by the chief conservator of forest. On this occasion, the Mayor of Siliguri Municipal Corporation adorned the chair of the chief guest. Among others, many environmentalists, members of NAF, DFO of Baikuntapur range were also present. A colourful program on importance of plantation was presented through song and dance to leave a strong message.
