Orientation by Fr. V. C. Jose
The journey of new scholastic session 2021-22 began at Auxilium Convent School on 25th Mar 2021 with new dreams and aspirations.
In view of this, the school management conducted an Orientation Programme on 23rd Mar ’21 which was conducted by Rev. Fr. V. C. Jose, SDB who is currently serving as the Vice – Principal of Don Bosco School, Malbasey, Sikkim. He is an unparallel and eminent personality in the field of education, a renowned scholar & a strict disciplinarian.
In the daylong seminar, Fr. Jose inspired the gathering of Sisters and teachers towards resurrecting teaching skills and code of conduct necessary to combat gruesome challenges faced in day to day life in order to deal with students and parents in the present educational scenario.
Fr. Jose in his lectures suggested counter – productive techniques to explore the secrets of teaching by giving examples from the life of animals like a lion and eagle. Throughout his discourses and sermons, he emphasized on effective teaching methods by removing defective techniques and procedures.
Fr. Jose, in the seminar, trained all the teachers, the ways and means to excel in the field of education adopting simple techniques of skill, knowledge and hard-work mixed with professionalism. In the conference, a special emphasis was laid out for teachers on building a positive frame of mind with genuine attitude and strict discipline.
Towards the end, Fr. Jose highlighted plenty of qualities that make an ordinary teacher extraordinary in terms of achievements compared to others. By and large, it was very well understood that to become the best version of oneself in life, one has to undergo a lot of chiseling.
“Learning is a journey” and blessed are those with happiness and joy who dwell in the surrounding of God with a faithful heart and hard-working mind to be a part of this journey.
