Chess Tournament

Students of Auxilium Convent School participated in Chess Tournament conducted at the school premises on May 20^th 2023 i.e. on the day before the commencement of the summer vacation.

The event was open for all the students from Class V onwards where everyone almost played everyone to rule out any ambiguity and prove the power of game plan and execution.

In this tournament, there was no bar on age since the game of chess requires more of power of the brain rather than physical skill and stamina.

For this tournament, the school hired neutral judges from District Chess Association who adjudicated the whole proceedings with technical clarity as well as impartial viewpoint.

In this tournament, Sannidhya Bhattacharjee, Aatmika Paira and Dibyendu Pramanik stunned everyone by bagging the 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd prize respectively.
