Sport in Auxilium Fort
Sport is an integral part of education in the school life of a student. Sporting activities in every school is aimed towards encouraging physical fitness and fostering team spirit among the children. It also plays a crucial role in character development.
On this note, Auxilium Convent School organized Inter-house sports meet 2024–25 at the school premises from 11th Nov. to 14th Nov. 2024 in the presence of all the teachers and students of all the four houses.
In this sport meet children from both primary and secondary section participated with a lot of zeal and enthusiasm to showcase their athletic skills. All the four days of sports were filled with excitement alongside fierce competition.
The recently concluded sports week has been very eventful since the start of day 1 where an array of spectacular events were offered to the students of Division A, B, C and D. During sports meet, the track & field events included 100 M race, 200 M race, 400 M race, hurdles race, relay race etc. Besides this, thrilling fun sports like obstacle race, skipping race, wheel barrow race, cone race, tyre race, sac race, string hoop race, tug of war etc. were also organized.
Day 3 of the Sport meet was blessed with the presence of Sr. Rose Cyriac who is the Superior of Salesian College Hostel. Towards the end she honored & felicitated the winners of Day 3 events.
The physical test of students’ sheer strength and brute stamina during ACS sports meet left everyone amazed and thrilled.
ACS school administration takes the pride to have revolutionized the whole system of education by emphasizing on extra-curricular activities like Sports meet, Science Exhibition, fete etc. and all these have set a new benchmark towards making the institution a model school where students grow with character and competence.
Towards the end, the principal of the school, Sr. Jaya Sebastian, in her speech thanked everyone, including teachers & students for making the sports meet a grand success.
