Secondary Prayer Service 2024-25
Sing praises to the Lord, for he has done gloriously; let this be made known in all the earth. ~Isaiah
Auxilium Convent School embraced the scholastic year 2024-25 with a devotional prayer service held on 4th April 2024. The ceremony was intended to seek God's blessings for a smooth commencement of the academic session.
To mark the beginning of the prayer service, lighting of the lamp was carried out by the Principal of the school, Sister Jaya Sebastian along with teacher's and student's representatives. The flame's upward movement stood as a testament to the power of light over darkness and knowledge over ignorance.
Witnessing the lamp being lit, inspired everyone present in the ceremony. It was followed by a beautiful prayer dance in which the young Auxilians matched their steps to the divine song bringing the glory of heaven on Earth.
Intercessions were carried out which followed reading of verses from The Holy Bible to enlighten the young minds and rejuvenate their souls. Divine hymns were sung by the Sisters and the school choir group to seek God's bounteous blessings and protection for all the members of the Auxilium family.
On this occasion, Sister Principal in her address to the students appealed to everyone to follow the Code of Conduct and be disciplined. She further encouraged the young Auxilians to work diligently towards their goal in life. This would undoubtedly lead them to the path of success.
The brief, yet powerful ceremony was successful in enkindling a sense of discipline and responsibility in the young minds.
