Olympiad Exam

Olympiad exams promote the learning of skills in subjects like Mathematics, Science, Computer Technology and English Language etc. among students. An Olympiad helps students to analyze their strengths and weaknesses based on their performance in the nationwide or international level examinations. The ultimate objective of this assessment is to motivate students in their preferred field of studies.

Auxilium Convent School registered the interested students from both primary and secondary wing to appear for Olympiad tests in the academic session 2023-24. These tests were conducted by Unified Council under the banner UIEO (Unified International English Olympiad), UCO (Unified Cyber Olympiad), NSTSE (National Level Science Talent Search Examination) and UIMO (Unified International Mathematics Olympiad). In the last academic session, these exams were held in the month of August, September, December and January respectively.

The recently published result of these examinations brought smiles in the faces of few Auxilians who made the whole school and their parents proud by securing formidable position at the national ranking.

Firstly, in UIEO (Unified International English Olympiad) two students of ACS have stunned everyone by securing National recognition. Atandrita Barman of Class VII secured 1^st rank all over India. She was awarded a LAPTOP and a trophy for being a National Ranker by the Unified Council other than a medal, certificate of appreciation, book as reward, as well as an online subscription worth Rs 1,998/-. Besides this, Dibyendu Pramanik of Class IX secured 4^th rank all over India in this category.

In UCO (Unified Cyber Olympiad), four students of ACS made the school proud by achieving incredible success. They are – Dibyendu Pramanik of Class IX (AIR 32), Atandrita Barman of Class VII (AIR 46), Saptak Bose of Class VIII (AIR 68) and Abhigyan Roy of Class III (AIR 81). Each one of them was felicitated with a medal, certificate, online subscription worth Rs 1998/- and a book price.

In UIMO (Unified International Mathematics Olympiad), two students of ACS have shown extraordinary performance. They are – Md. Aazan Jamil of Class III (1^st rank across West Bengal) and Dibyendu Pramanik of Class IX (1^st rank across West Bengal in Class 8 category). Both of them were felicitated with a medal, certificate, online subscription worth Rs 1998/- and a book price.

On this occasion, the principal of the school, Sr. Jaya Sebastian congratulated all the winners and motivated everyone else to strive even harder to attain success in life. The wonderful performance of the students remains an inspiration for others to scale new heights. After all, it is in an age where there is cut-throat competition in every arena, be it academics, jobs, business, sports, etc.
