Inter – House Spell – Bee Competition
Auxilium hosted inter-house Spell Competition on dates 10th Oct, 11th Oct and 12th Oct ’23 in three different categories. The primary students of Class I & II participated in the competition on 10th Oct whereas the students of Class III & IV participated on 11th Oct. The secondary students of Class V to VII had the contest on 12th Oct’23.
In this competition, four students representing each house participated and contested with the candidates of other teams. The event was witnessed by a large group of audience in both primary and secondary section along with Sisters and teachers.
The competition was divided into five rounds viz. ‘Visual’ round, ‘Guess the Alphabet’ round, ‘Verbal’ round, ‘Jumbled Word’ round and ‘Choose the Correct Option’ round after which the cumulative total was calculated by a team of scorers. Each question asked to a particular team was bound in a stipulated time frame which was recorded by a neutral time-keeper.
As the event progressed, the whole atmosphere charged up with extreme excitement as each house tried to overtake the other one on the score sheet.
The principal, in her speech, appreciated all the contestants and encouraged everyone to learn new words and make minimum spelling mistakes while writing answers.
