Class X - Mental Health Awareness Programme

In today's fast paced world stress, anxiety and depression are very common. So Auxilium Convent School, Siliguri observed Mental Health Awareness Programme on 9th April 2024 conducted by Rev. Father Joe Kokkandathil, Principal of Don Bosco Degree College, Chittradurga, Karnataka.
Students of classes X and XI actively participated in this programme. 

Rev. Father conducted fruitful sessions which helped the students to reflect on themselves and attain control over their thoughts and actions through various therapy and meditation suggested by him. Father had discussed about the ill-effects of various neuropsychiatric disorders and how it needs to be addressed. One cannot control ones thoughts but can choose his thoughts. He motivated the young Auxilians to pursue their dreams; together with having a healthy body one should have a good mental health. The students benefitted immensely from the programme.

Students of Auxilium Convent School are highly grateful and thankful to dear Sister Jaya Sebastian, Principal of the school for organizing such a programme keeping in mind the welfare and goodwill of the students. 
The students learnt that "One small crack doesn't mean that you are broken, it means you were put into the test and you didn't fall apart."
