Class VIII - Mental Health Awareness Programme

The students of class viii attended a day long session on mental wellness on 13th April 2024.The workshop was conducted by Rev fr Joe kokkandathol ,an educator in Psychology at Central University of Karnataka. The session began sharp at 9 a.m.with a warm welcome speech by Atmika paira ,followed by presentation of khada by Mouparna .The proceedings of the day unfolded with meditation and prayer.
Students learnt how to manage their thoughts and have control over their emotions. They have been taught simple meditation on stress management to calm down their minds and remain cheerful. Children were made to practice Isha kriya to nourish their mind and body with positive energy. Students have identified their painful experiences of the past and experienced healing while undergoing therapy. Psychogeometry helped them to identify their character traits through geometric figures. The whole days session passed in a wink of an eye and it was finally time to wind up with a vote of thanks.Agnik and kheya shared their insight on the days program. Father was presented with a memento by the students of class VIII to express their love. The session ended at 3.10 p.m. on a positive note and students returned with a smile on their faces.
