Annual Day 2023–24
Annual Day 2023-24 in Auxilium Convent School was celebrated on the 2nd Dec 2023 amidst hundreds and thousands of spectators at the school premises to showcase talents children possess.
Reverend Sr. Sini Mathew, Provincial Superior of Kolkata Province was present as the chief guest of the occasion. Other esteemed guests present at the cultural meet included Guest of Honour Fr. Dr. Babu Joseph, Principal of Salesian College, Siliguri and Fr. Cherian John, headmaster of St. Peter’s Higher Secondary School at Gayaganga. The ushering of the dignitaries was done by the Auxilium scout unit.
The crowd of people who witnessed the ceremony comprised of distinguished guests, notable personalities, parents along with their wards and local residents other than teachers and staff members of Auxilium.
The theme of the concert was ‘Heal the World’ & each program presented by the students of Auxilium in the function centred around the main subject i.e. Peace & Harmony. The light & sound effect used in each event added a professional dimension to the whole presentation. All the performers especially the young ones in the primary wing were loudly cheered by the crowd for their impeccable acts without any flaw. The programmes included choir singing, folk dance, western dance, cultural dance, classical dance other than skit drama by the primary & secondary students.
The chief guest Sr. Sini Mathew on this occasion appreciated the school management for conducting such a beautiful show with acute precision and encouraged all the students for their wonderful performance.
Overall, through the Annual Concert, Auxilium once again thumped its stamp of solidarity to the people of Siliguri that with the spirit of God and His divine mercy everything is possible. This belief and conviction in God only make every Auxilian unique.
