A Day in the Life of Childhood

Jawahar Lal Nehru once said that children are like buds in a garden and should be carefully and lovingly nurtured, as they are the future of the nation and the citizens of tomorrow. He was a strong advocate of children’s education and he truly believed that if every child and youngster in the country is provided with the right education, then they can make India progress as a nation.

Like most schools across the nation, Auxilium Convent School too celebrated the occasion of Children’s Day 2021-22 with much fervour and enthusiasm to honour the learners. The celebration was carried out through an on-line broadcast in which Sisters and teachers played a pivotal role.

The virtual programme began with the readings of the verses from The Holy Bible to refresh every child’s soul and spirit. Thereafter, in their speech, the teachers blessed the students abundantly towards attaining a brighter future and successful career.

The video telecast of the online programme specially meant for kids of Auxilium had all elements to get lost in the ocean of happiness. The performance delivered by the teachers on Children’s Day comprised of singing, dancing, recitation etc. surged new heights of joy. Emotions of fun and frolic tumbled out after a presentation was shown depicting – ‘A Day in the Life of a Student at School’. It brought tears of joy as one must have thought in mind how school life used to play a crucial role in pre-corona era to spice up everyday laughter and joy.

In her message, the principal of the school blessed all the children and recommended everyone to lead a simple student life filled with innocence where there is no place for pride and arrogance. She also asked each and everyone to be grateful and thankful to God for his mercy and kindness.

In fact, Auxilium takes the pride to acknowledge the fact that every learner of ACS understands the responsibility to take the nation across the river of ignorance, illiteracy and corruption and show the people of the nation a golden path to reach a prosperous tomorrow.
