† Obituary † † In Loving Memory of † † Mother Elizabeth Packumala † † (1938-2017) †

Auxilium mourned the sad demise of Mother Elizabeth Packumala on 27th Nov. ’17 at the age of 80 years. She was one of the most veteran members of the MSMHC Congregation and a god centric missionary nun with a vast experience of working for 56 years with the congregation. Her eternal departure leaving all worldly possessions, after a massive cardiac arrest, created a big emptiness in the minds of thousands of her loved followers, disciples and friends.

With her sad demise, somewhere in the sparkling sky of MSMHC, a star suddenly stopped twinkling and faded away forever. With her tragic end of life, a dawn that broke over the horizon of Auxilium’s success also comes to a standstill. With her immortal fond memories the vacuum of loneliness to her eternal abode takes everyone close to her including her family members in grief and pain.

She will always be remembered as a person whose love and compassion never discriminated people or created distinction. Her gentle and humane nature wrapped in modesty always attracted people to approach her for service and aid. The last rites at her funeral would always have a resonance of words in our memory as -

“When, therefore, your soul shall depart from your body, may the resplendent multitude of the angels meet you: may the court of the apostles receive you: may the triumphant army of glorious martyrs come out to welcome you: may the splendid company of confessors clad in their white robes encompass you: may the choir of joyful virgins receive you: and may you meet with a blessed repose in the bosom of the patriarchs.”
